Well a friend and I went on a night shoot at the city last night and here are some of the shots we took.

Still plenty of shots that i have to go through and it seems i still need to learn alot when it comes to post processing (probably still need to learn a lot about composition too but i'm trying )

I think #2 also, I like the top framing palm leaves. Only picky bit have, is I think it would look even better if the palm, (that you can see all of it) wasn't there.
#3 I don't like the amount of blk sky that you can see. maybe if was a clear night and you could see some stars in there maybe it would be better

Yeah actually, the more and more i look at the second one, the more and more i like it

I also think the shot would have been so much nicer if it was only the leaves that was framed, however i don't think it was physically possible for me to do, i wanted to get the length of the bridge, and the opera house at the bottom and to do that, that palm had to be in view.

As for #3, yeah that shot would have worked so much better at around 4:30pm/5pm or so, but the weather was very cloudy last night, so i think i'll have to try a lot of these shots again another day.

new add on's for camera kit...spade to dig out miss-planted palms and other types of plants.

maybe someone in the forum who is s**t hot in photoshop could help you out...some of the guys here are pretty good with PP.

the second one is the pic for me...good use of the palm leaves to frame your picture...like the colors too...cloudy evenings can be a bonus

iso 100, f8, 16 seconds.

All exif data should still be intact with the images.

Great series. #2 and the last are my picks here. #2 great use of framing and excellent exposure - Last like the perspective and the camera settings have created a lovely balance between subject and background (sky) Creamy smooth transitions
