Image

Camelia in bloom, very shallow DOF (wanted some feedback, so not in the monthly challenge) - natural colour :) 1/200, f4.5, 105mm with flash.

I like. Colours are really lovely. Look great framed in a little girl's bedroom.

Rel - BEAUTIFUL colours, nicely contrasted against each other. If I were to attempt to critique this (and its being a bit ultra fussy) I would like to see the pink part of the flower under the tallest stamen more in focus. I think the selective DOF is a ltitle too great. Also perhaps a slightly tighter crop from the left side of the image as you look at it. Let me knwo what you think of those ideas. Cheers big ears. :)

Rel. This is great and the DOF works very well. Colours are nice too.

Thanks everyone :) You've made my day !!!!!

I think I'll go back in the next couple of days and try to get a similar look, with some more of the stamens in focus ... I promise I won't post it again ;) :)

Was a beautiful flower begging to be photographed though :)

Thank you all again

Hugs
