Narelle,

Now this is one hell of a good bird shot!

Very sharp, good vertical composition, bird looking at camera and a great background.

One to be proud of :P

Cheers

Michael

Ones called a Noisy Miner and the other is the Common Indian Myna. Two totally different birds with totally different spelling even though they do sound the same :)

Great shot Rel, I normally not a keen one for a lot of branches in a bird shot as they usually detract from the bird and become distracting. However these branches don't distract at all and makes for a great environmental shot. Top marks.

Wow guys - was not expecting such a good response to a noisy miner (sorry about the previous spelling) :)

Albert - I was actually using the 105mm 2.8 micro Nikon lens while shooting my flower shots, when this sweety decided to land pretty much on top of me ;)

And for Bernie - this is an Indian Mynah :), so now you can tell the difference.
