Two distinctly different landscapes

I havent posted a pic for a while so here's two.

Two distinctly different landscapes from two distinctly different parts of the world.

This is from the top of the Stirling Ranges near Albany in WA. it was a gorgeous day and the long and steep climb was rewarded with a view to kill (or die) for. (Nikon F70 and Fuji 100)

This is from yesterday. It is the statue of Jesus overlooking Dili in East Timor. It was difficult taking a photo of it from where i was to show the size of the statue. It is quite large. I guess about 25-30 metres tall. (D2H and 80-200mm)

alot of depth in the first one Steve :!: The Fuji film was a good choice with the greenery 8)

#1 - nice view, needs a bit more punch for my tastes - a bump in contast/saturation to get the "Velvia" look

#2 - hard to tell the scale here, kinds of looks like a miniature. :)
