Flower - pretty or boring?

Or worse... both....
I like the out of focus and backlight, I think the flower could be stronger, but bringing it up in PP doesn't seem to work for me, any thoughts?

Nice try at the back lighting, but the BG is too busy around the main subject.

I think there are two problems with this image:
- the flower needs to be shot from a different angle so that the viewer gets more detail
- it also needs to take up a greater area of the frame so that it is clearly the main subject.

Another boring for me Juztin, can't hold a candle to your street life, and portrait work.
