Wow, not the cliched view i was expecting when i read the title. Then again, i would not expect that from you.
Very nice image. An excellent perspective of a popular landmark and the B&W is fitting the image very well.

Was this taken on film and then scanned in ?
Or were you using your D70 ?

Indeed an excellent shot of an icon from a different perspective - I like Hlop

I liked the BW tones here... combined with the cars/street, the tower outrules them by size and distance

Many thanks for your feedback!
It's been shot with Hasselblad XPan on B&W film Ilford Delta 3200, hand held, 1/30, f/11. Scanned on Epson 4990. No post-processing except some cropping of visible film edges
Actually, despite digital noise, D70 handled night hand-held photography at ISO1600 with 24-120VR much better than XPan with Ilford Delta 3200 - shooting with 2 cameras, I've got more D70's keepers from Amsterdam night channels cruise. But when me and Lara were in Malaysia I left D70 with Taya in Ukraine (she stayed there for 2 weeks longer than we did)
