Through The Fog

When I got there it was foggy...

Then it got worse!!!

I was sitting patiently waiting for some wattlebirds to stop fighting and get into a position where I could see them... then the fog got worse and I couldn't see the tree 10m infront of me.... So I turned the lens down towards the pier.

This isn't anything like my usual subjects so would love to hear any comments... good, bad and ugly!!

I'd try making this high contrast so the black parts look like cutouts against a white background, more of a silhouette. It's a bit grey and not much of anything at the moment.

This is a classic fog shot and looks great. Shoot what you see

I agree with Chris on this one. Fog is fog and you have captured this pretty damn well.

Cheers

Paul,
That's much you can do when shooting thru fog.

Have you switched your fog lights on?

Looks like the Mornington Pier?

Haven't been there for years (I actually lived there for quite a while)

Does the Better Beamer count as a fog light?

Yep it's mornington pier.

I've paid a few visits to this before commenting. There is something hauntingly beautiful about this image. There is so little detail yet it holds the viewer. I think this is a superb capture.
