I quite like this.

I think the BW treatment works well also.

Really nice WW, the treatment make it feel like it was taken in a different period of time, as does her hair and clothes.

Hey Wendell

The shot was from a wedding. This girl was handing out rose petals to guests to throw over the bride and groom when they left the church. She was refilling them when i saw this shot.

The technical story behind it was:
Small level adjustment and a crop to remove distracting sides, then a play in curves to get the sort of contrast i was looking for.

The conversion to black and white was done through "virtual photographer" with a few tweaks in those settings. I did use a "green picker" in that programme to get more contrast betweent he pink girls dress and the grey sides of the building, as she was blending into the BG after the straight B+W conversion. The picker brought out much darker colours in her dress.

I then when into the "variations" tool in PS and added some yellow to the image to try for that olde worlde look.

I am glad you guys liked this pic.

Cheers
WW :D

I love this shot, with the PS work and the girls ringlets it gives the whole scene that "old world charm".

This is one of those images that has a timeless quality about it, and nicely PP'ed too... Lovely image... The parents of the young girl would love it!
