birds

this pair of parrots were in the tree next door preening them. selves after the rain over night.

i would like to clone out the small limb but don't know how
can any body help, thanks.

Pa to clone out the branch you will need to use the "clone brush" in Photoshop.

1) Alt-Click on the area that you want your target to look like
2) Paint over the offending area

I find that it usually works best if you 'stroke' the area in the same direction that the feathers are going. Use a small brush size and use lots of different sample areas as needed.

The pics you have posted could be quite difficult as it takes up a fair portion of the bird. Might be easier on the full size version though.

Here's my quick try at the second image.

Also used shadow/highlight tool to try and reduce shadows a bit
