Here is a sample of some of todays pictures of Taronga Zoo. I think they are a bit softer than my last set but it maybe it is me getting used to using the 70-200mm.

some good stuff here.

The peregrene falcon looks a tad dark on my monitor.

the last 2 birdies are good also.

just checked the colour profiles on these.

they look flat-ish cos the profiles are wrong.

they should be srgb. these are adobe rgb

just looked at the raw peregrine you sent me.
colour etc looks waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better than the peregrine in your post. even with the colour profiles fixed.

Look sweet to me - my web browser is Abobe RGB aware so they look great

Geting good use from the D70s? :)

Pharmer: I have his raw here,
trust me, the image on the web looks like poop compared to the raw.
he is working on it as I type.

Hey Pharmer, yeah I took it out for a run today. But as usual its the operator not the equipment for todays stuff up. I have the camera set for sRGB but when I opened each of the photos in Photoshop I forgot to see what space it opened them in ( Adobe RGB ) so I buggered up the colours/conversions.

Live and Learn. The D70s is everything as expected. Thanks for a great camera.
