So thats where the StarGate went?!
I like the pic. I think the tree in the background it awesome. Im not so sure about the foreground very dark. I like the round gate its cool.

Ssshhh!
You're right, it's a huge sculpture at UNSW. It was once a working clock, and those little baubles rotated to tell the time. Someone told the engineering students that it was 'unbreakable,' after some creative work with a few chains, it now only tells the correct time twice a day

UNSW does have to nice buildings to take photos. I can see why you would want to take a shot of the ring.
I like the angle and the bw treatment.

Gee, this seems really eerie and spooky to me... The dark subject and the scraggly tree limbs in the background...

Given his excellent recent work, I'll take that as a compliment

. I love high contrast B&W, if that is 'Stubbsy' style them I'm definitely a student at that school
