Despite the subject line, these are actually church frescos, but I didn't want to scare off the agnostics and atheists amongst us.

St Mary's catholic church in Mudgee is a lovely church and along the walls are twelve frescos representing the 12 stations of the cross (I'm assuming this, since they are numbered I to XII). I took pics of 8 of them (if I knew then what they were I'd have done all 12, but the church was fairly dimly lit & I only noticed the numbering when doing my PP). There is something really artistic about the D2x colour renditions.

I agree with Trevor. Those subtle pastel shades have come up really nice.

I would have to agree with the others on these pics Peter, the colours are gorgeous - Praise the Lord

One thing i notice is, Jesus always has a glowing head.. he's like an animated night light... last thing ya want to be doing is shagging the ugly chick and trying to turn the lights out so ya can pretend its good looking

Tim - I'd say the images DID do something for you - they put an image in your head about how weird it would be if you were Jesus

EDIT: And before you ask - these were shot solely using available light. The lights in the church were on, but no flash. These are a testament to the wonders of PP. Below is the untouched original of Station #12 above:
