both 6 min plus. Bit longer than I would normally go but trying to keep the ISO down.

Love the 2nd shot - it has a very surrel element to it whcih is quite eye catching...nice work. The first image doesn't compete :)

Really like that second image too. Love the water fluff. :)

2nd is surreal and effective, I love the crisp rocks and contrast in the water colour.

Not enough interest in the sky in shot #1 for me, a few more star trails or some more colour would have helped :)

#2 is definitely the winner of the two, but both are nice long exposures. I agree with rooboy a bit more interest in the sky in #1 would of been useful.

I like both :!: :!:

...the first has well exposed rocks and good detail, the first also has the beginnings of star trails

The second has that "foggy" appearance of a long exposure of the water

I am for No. 2 mostly. I sit & wait for the dragon to rise from the mist!
No.1 is a little too much light. Try playing with levels on the foreground in PS if you can to add a bit more drama. It looks like it was hit with the mother of all flashguns! Maybe a little Dodge and Burn through the sky and adjust the colours there would do something. The sky doesn't bother me too much though. Something to play with on a winter's night.

Overall, Berry nice indeed. 8)

The second shot it great, but I like the first one better. It is very atmospheric, even moody.

Cheers

I like both images. The second, in particular, is a stunner.
