I know, as a location, it's done to death.

I haven't done any as yet, and was keen to get out and have a go. Here's what I came up with.

All taken with d70s and 18-70dx lens.

Only a small amount of sharpening done in cs2.

Hopefully they turned out well, I think they look good.

C & C is most welcome :)

Any chance of making the horizons level? #3 in particular seems quite a few degrees off.

No matter how many times I see pics of my town, I still think they look great!

I like the 1st and 2nd shot, yeah... I think number 3 is abit slanted.

Well done!

Even if done to death, there's nothing wrong with YOU doing your take on these things.

Of these I like that you've got the moon in #3. In #2 I think it's a little desaturated (eg the pylon is more orange than that), but more importantly - I'd suggest you clone out that pesky bit of railing in the lower left corner.

Thanks for sharing these.

I really like number 1, but would crop a bit off the foreground grass, pushing the park bench to the bottom of the photo.

Agree with Stubbsy's suggestion to clone out the railing in number 2 or alternatively, do a tighter crop just above and below the foreground pilon. Looks great as a tight pano.

I also never get tired of photos of my home town. :D
