...literally :)

2 experiments from yesterday, please be brutally honest and tell me if either work.

I've done a quick B&W on each (not really happy with the trees yet), if anyone would like to have a play please do so.

i like the idea of the 3rd
execution in black and white is more surreal and appealing on that level
cool stuff

For me the trees don't really work but I like the buildings and the b&w makes for a more dramatic presentation.

3rd shot is very trippy, makes me dizzy :)
very well taken.

It doesn't really work for me, but I find the 4th shot interesting. The buildings provides graphic lines leading one's eye to the image's centre - but the tree there makes the composition a bit confused IMHO.

I like the buildings in both colour and black and white. You have to spend time trying to work out which way it goes, which makes it kinda cool for me. The first one doesn't really work for me.

Nice shots. I prefer #3.
IMHO #4, the B&W of #3 could be good but the highlights and quarter tones are far too blown out.

I prefer the colour versions of both shots, the colours are simple and powerful and add to the images.

The building shot is my favourite. I think you should re-shoot it and try for more symmetry. I guess it would suit this geometric subject well.

Cheers
