Kites
Posted: Sun Jun 18, 2006 6:50 pmTook a wander down at Wanda (pardon the pun) on Saturday morning. Stumbled accross a kite demonstration. Had the VR70-200 with me plus the new 1.7 converter I picked up from Birdy on Friday.........looks like the test was on!
Its gonna take me some time to get used to the converter but I was impressed with the extra reach it gave me. Can't wait to give it the acid test for sports shots next weekend.
I liked this kite. It was by far the most original on the day. I called it "The Australiana"
I did'nt quite get what I was looking for here. I wanted more movement but shot it at too higher shutter speed.
By far my fav kite of the day "The Egyptian". Well thats what I called it.
Oh yeah, a quick lens change to show you the view from the ground. I think I like my new 1.7 converter!!
