Saturday night at the MCGHi,
My second day with my new D70s. Very excited making a move from my student kit from 1993, Pentax SF10, with slow lenses, to my D70s 18-70, and since these pics got a 85/1.8, 50/1.8, and a terrific 80-200/2.8. I love it!!!! THese pics were with my kit lens, the 18-70. Got these three pics from about 45 minutes on the Swan street bridge, "Saturday Night at the Football". Interested to know of the source of flare on the Combie GHosting pic. Assuming flare of the sensor, as exposure time was long! Love to hear your thoughts on my first ever DSLR PICS!!!! Regards Oz. http://www.pbase.com/oz_beachside/melbourne_by_night
the 3rd shot is my favourite. combi van shot is very cool also.

Second day, and you already have a 85, 50, 80-200?!?!?!
![]() What's your secret?!?!?! Took me many more months than that to accumulate that much gear, and I'm STILL in trouble with The Boss ![]() Nice ones, I love night long exposures... As for the flaring, are you using filters on your lenses? I find that if I leave them on for long exposures, I get flare.
ahh, thanks losfp, yes, I had my UV filter on (for "protection"). I'll set the shots up again, and see, thankyou!
Um, it took me a few weeks to get the other lenses, some used on ebay and newies. Caught the bug on glass though ![]()
