Two different buildings, two very different windows.
First had great warm winter sunlight.
The second was on the sheltered side but got nice reflections of the blue sky. Sorry about the slight perspective distortion, but you can see from the size of the bricks just how large these windows were...

First shot is great, the contrast between the warm colour and the harsh broken glass is very effective. Fantastic shot
Second doesn't do a lot for me I'm afraid.

Both great images,
I in fact prefer the 2nd as I love the cool blue colours in the windows against the stark brickwork.
There you go, one man's oasis is another man's desert ........well you know what I mean.

Nice captures of desolation, I like them both.
But you should have posted them in the IT section...
Cheers
Steffen.

Definitely #2 for me. I like the blue reflections on the glass and the almost tesselated effect the brickwork has. That's a bloody big window.

Thanks guys,
It is a big old building with lots of windows, it must have been a p.i.t.a to keep clean when it was operational.
I will post others to show the height, but I shot from the ground with a wide lens which gave very strong perspective/distortion.
Cheers

Marty - I don't tire of looking at your 'work'. The 2nd image is the stand out here for me - I like the contrast of the blue windows against the dirty old bricks - very nicely done.

Marty,
I think both are good with the 1st one appealing to me the most.

Nice captures!
The first had me take a breath, lots of sharpness, and warm color!
The second, at first, I was dissapointed, however, upon a second, more detailed look, I begun to appreciate the color variation in the bricks, particularly the lower left hand corner...
thanks for sharing!
