Gday guys, here goes my first post

I am currently running film still as have not been able to afford digi slr yet. am using a canon 3000 with a variety of lenses. Here is a pic of a willie wagtail taken with a 75-300 and 2x converter.
pls keep in mind the image is scanned on med quality as it is a print, so a bit fuzzy and not as sharp as id like.
cheers

You need my scanner. Unfortunately it is a bit hard to judge the photo from this version. Welcome to the forum. :D

Welcome to the forum land-lubber, as suzanneg said it's a bit hard to tell the qualityof the original shot. There seems to be good seperation from the background, perhaps composition wise I'd crop some of the LHS and top and put the bird in the lower left third.

lol, thanks fellas, i know the scan is a bit dodgy, but the foreground is quite crisp. I have been playing with some cropping, but a bit hard with the scanned image and no real photo editing eqpt on this computer. Am playing with panoramic and other crops ATM.
thanks for the feedback,
cheers
