Wintery Landscapes

I was determined not to let the thick fog and lack of birds ruin a good morning out (plus I got up at 5:30 on my day off and it was freezing!!!) so I tried some landscapes.
Thoughts?

That second one is sureal, love the softness added by the fog... Love frosts, must try something like that here....

i love both of these, although i like the second shot more.
the fog is just awesome with the colours of the sky

#2 has simply beautiful tones in the sky, nicely offset with foreground interest. The only thing I'd change is to clone out that dust bunny/blob in the top right corner.

Great second shot there. And you're braver than me. Dawn on the Gold Coast is cold enough at the moment I reckon, let alone Victoria.

#2 is a beautiful, finely crafted image. Great soft pastel colours, wonderfully composed and superb use of DOF.

It was a great morning sunrise today, I wanted to pull over and take some shots, but work beckoned.
Fog was really thick in Somerville.
Your second image captures what I was feeling and is my choice out of the two.
