Keep Them in the DarkCouple of mushroom shots. I'm thinking DoF is probably too shallow, but I was handholding and was willing to sacrifce DoF.
Only PP was levels and slight sharpen (on resized JPG) ![]() ![]()
Re: Keep Them in the Dark
I'd agree with you there. The lack of DOF spoils these. Especially the 2nd. It would be great otherwise.
Thanks - I must admit I'm fond of the second one despite the very shallow depth of field. Very happy with the colour and texture and sharpness of what is in focus ![]()
Barrie. #2 works for me too
And of course it would for you - look at the colour ![]() ![]() Peter

Barrie,
I love a good fungi shot and these are both quite decent. Sure, 2nd one could of done with a bit more DOF in hindsight but they still both work. Cheers Michael

While these are excellent (and only go to prove that your camera doesn't consistently desaturate your images ![]() Cheers, John

Barrie - I actually like the second shot because of the shallow DOF

I'm with Rel on this too!
I really quite like the 2nd image and the shallow dof works a treat in my mind. Another one I'd like to see enlarged and on a wall. Barrie you're working some magic mate. Geoff
