Stopped at Melbourne for a few days to visit a friend when going back to Adelaide and shot some photos.

no. 3 is great with the light shining through the clouds. is that shot taken just down from the royal melbourne yacht club? the scene looks somewhat familiar.

i prefer the 4th one at luna park. the composition and subject is a bit more interesting for me than the nightscapes of the melbourne skyline...then again I'm bored of it 'cos I live here

I am sure people living in Melbourne are get bored of the nightscapes. Just like I get bored of Hong Kong's nightscapes.
But for me, Melbourne nightscapes are quite interesting for me

Many experts would probably tell you the Melbourne cityscapes would be much better shot just on dusk when the sky still has a blue tinge to it. But in reality, that only lasts for what? - ten, twenty minutes max? Not all of us can be standing around all afternoon with a tripod waiting for it to happen when we're travelling.
I like the cityscapes. The fairground photos also have a slightly sinister, abandoned feel to them.
