3 more from this past weekend...

this one is a bit later in the day than I typically like to shoot as is evident of the harsh light on the left of the rocks
I seem to be shooting in this format so much now I need Birdy to get me a Hassy 39 megapixel....for the price of a D70

edit: 1 more.......

#1 and #2 very similar - same rocks same sky, however, #1 justs stands out so well with the lighting whereas the second looks flatter. Really like #1 a lot followed by #3.

Cheers Peter

Love your work LostDingo. The Dramatic sky really works well.

The first photo has a lovely element of drama from the waves in the foreground. Looks like you got wet feet for your troubles. How did you manage to keep the tripod steady? I've taken similar images (not as good as yours) where the tripod has started sinking in the sand - always a way to get your heart started first thing in the morning!

Paul,

you have capture these beautifully, I also love the lighting in the #1 and #3. #2 is also great, it as a more "relaxed" look to it, great sky.

What lens do you usually use for these?

thanks,

André
