Hi,

Last saturday I went to test my "new" camera - old soviet Kiev 6C (the one I've brought to the mini-meet at Birddog's at the end of May). Here is one of captures from 100 years for Warringah council celebration. No post-processing at all.

Lens Vega-12B 2.8/90. f/11, 1/90. Chinese Lucky SHD400 120 format film.

Great capture of the "old bat"

I suppose the old soviet camera is FILM ?
Well captured and exposed.

Show some more of this kind.

Cheers,
CD

Actually I do like the picture. What does he do with the bat? Wouldn't it get grumpy being out during the day?

I'm guessing that it was at an open day? (seeing the bat has been tagged -captive or maybe even re-capture?).

And surely he would be 'batmate'?

Very good pictures. Maybe lighten the mans jumper in PShop so the bat comes 'forward' a bit. Otherwise excellent. Nice to see film again.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your comments!

As I mentioned it was 100 years for Warringah council and Environmental Fair at James Mehan Reserv (near Dee Why lagoon) - you know, organic food, recycling systems, local plants etc. etc. etc. The guy was telling about flying foxes

Yes, soviet camera is the medium format film camera. Kiev 6C is the predecessor to the Kiev 60:
