Yes...that's correct...the pic below is "slide" flim....it's amazing how distant film has become in my own life also not just on this forum. The picture below is of a Hummingbird from my mother's place approx 10 years ago. Unfortunately not properly framed as the poor bird's tail is missing But all the same I still like.

Of those unfamiliar with Hummingbirds this little girl is about 3/4 the size of my thumb...they flap their wings so fast you need to use a flash to at least have "blurred" wing movement.

Nikon N90 (F90 here)
Lens: 70-210 most likely at 210mm at f5.6
Shutter speed: 1/200 with SB 28 fill flash
Film: Fuji Transparency but unsure speed or series? Fuji RD on film

Very cute and good seperation of background to subject make it stand out nicely.

Unfortunately some of the better aerial photos of Hummingbirds in flight were missing

I recall some where wasp and bumblebbes were in flight in conjuction with the Hummingbirds...really placed a perspective of size as bumblebee is not much smaller
