Gorgeous shots. I love them all, #3 is probably my pick because of the amazing dead(?) trees, but in #4 you'ce captured some lovely detail in the sky. Well done :)

I like all 3, but #3 the pick as it has a bit of all the colours and well done looks like a nice place to get lots of nice shots like these.

The background in the 1st 2 remind me of one of the windows sample pictures in the /My Pictures/Sample Pictures folder.

Great colours.

That's correct! The trees were diseased, half of the Mountain was wiped out but I thought made interesting foreground. This was in the Smoky Mtns in Tennessee.

Pics taken about 9 years ago?? Fuji slide film with a NIKON N90 and 50mm 1.8 lens

The reddish one is not from a filter either oddly enough....the clouds, mist etc create this effect. All shots were taken at sunset at approx 7,000 feet

Yeah #3 would be my choice for the same reason that others have commented on.

Foreground detail and receding mountains

Beautiful shots. I'm with everyone else ....#3. The foreground gives this image that something extra.
