Torres Strait quarantine risk

This guy was trying to hitch a ride back to the mainland in my camera bag. Luckily i had time to change lense to the sigma 105mm before he slinked away.

I don't know the species, but with those big eyes high up - could this be some kind of jumping spider?

Steffan you're right - it is a member of the Salticidae family, or jumping spiders ... but as to what species :? Way too many spiders that are undiscribed, and from TI - not a hope in hell for this little bunny :)

Wicked mohawk on him though ;)
