I went down to Balnarring to try and capture a sunrise by the water but the rise wasn't as I had hoped for,
certainly not as good as those closer to the city (Melbourne).

I did manage a couple of images of the horses getting a work out.
I was hoping to get some action shots of the horses as they cantered through the waters edge,
but this one would have bolted as it got closer to me.
You will see in the second image that the horse was wary.

Yes, the first one is excellent.

The second ... almost looks a tad oversharpened, although it's not.

The guys face in #2 is funny. He looks less than impressed.

He was impressed at the time as he was turning the horse for a shot.
He also wanted a copy and took my card and was meant to ring last night, alas he didn't.
I probably scared him off by saying that if you want a hard copy it will cost,
but I'm quite happy to email him an electronic copy so he can do with it what he wants.

Garry
It probably looks over sharpened as I treated the horse and rider with local contrast and sharpening
trying to make both stand out from background leaving the rest as out of camera.

First pass Radius 50 Amount 5-10
Second ....Radius .8 Amount 80- 90
