Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. They are only cliches in colour  Of these the only one that grabs me is #1 - I like the framing and the treatment works well.
#2 is a little too dark. Peter

I like #1 as well, nice abstraction with the shadows having an interesting effect.
But I like #2 as well, you get the design of the SOH, but without the usual outline as it blends into the cityscape behind. - Danny

1st image: mysterious shadows on the the sails,
where did they come from? perhaps an effect from an IR filter?
Looks like the sun coming thru the HB D50 - AF-S NIKKOR 18-70mm 3.5-4.5G ED
Perhaps they are shadows from that other cliched icon.
