I went up to Mt Gravatt yesterday evening to try and catch the sunset with the new toy (D200) and these are the best efforts

Great stuff! Few first shots of your D200.
How do you feel the D200 with the MB-D200? well balance with the 70-200VR isn't it?

congrats on the new toy.

both of these dont do much for me.
the sky is a nice orange but essentially the first shot is just orange and black.
ok if you support the tigers I guess?

the second is the better of the 2 because there is something to look at in the dark areas.

Nice shots Steve :)
I was hoping that I could enlarge them when I opened them up on the new page .... any chance of reloading the 'larger' versions?
Glad to see you are enjoying the new toy (you bastard ;) )
Hugs

I'm with Rel on this matter Steve - I reckon you've short-changed us with the small versions!

would be a great spot for night shots if they cropped the trees down a bit
hey !!

you have done well to get some decent images between the trees 8)

Birdy - yes it is very nice to use. It feels great I just need to learn to use the functionality.

Rel / Simon - click on the images for a larger one. The smaller ones are for the bandwidth challenged.

Only 2 troublesome trees up there. I am not normally into vandalism but I did find myself thinking that it would be a shame if someone ringbarked one in particular

Did that - it was the large ones I thought were too small for this sort of shot!
