happy birthday!

think the 2nd would be stronger with some rocks cropped off the bottom.

will make comp. stronger by having the line of lights moved away from the centre of the frame.

In the 2nd I was going for the rocks as the feature. I guess rocks cant compete with bright lights. Thanks for your reply :)

With No.2, is there enough detail in the foreground to quickmask it with a large soft brush and hit it with Levels or Curves or even Shadow/Highlight if you have CS2?

Well sighted Sir! very nice Birthday shots
Best wishes :D :D

big red: I thought about how it would look with the sky cropped, but think the sky is probably more interesting than the rocks.

What are you doing creeping around the rocks in the dark with a camera? Go home and be a family man.
Nice seascapes by the way. :D

Happy Birthday Adam

what else did you get apart from great weather?

regarding your images i woudl be inclined to not frame any of the bondi cliff face when the weather is great the light doesn't look too great on the cliff face, what is most photogenic is the sky water and rocks on the sand

2nd one is good too what were the settings?

and happy birtthay, new year and merry christmas!

better but for a shot like this i would knock off the light post to the left

also next tiem would be cool to extend the height of the tripod to eye level and take the shot you will get more of the rocks which i think is lacking in this shot
