C&C welcomed. Would love to know how to make it better. It seemed like it had alot of potential, but the photo doesnt reflect what I thought it would turn out like.

Exposure: 0.002 sec (1/640)
Aperture: f/7.1
Focal Length: 18 mm
ISO Speed: 200
Exposure Bias: 0/3 EV

Norbs, I think this shot does have potential. Maybe push the saturation and/or contrast a bit to get a richer blue sky and green grass. May need a bit more sharpening as well. If you had the channce to do the shot again, I'd try to get all the right hand tree in shot. Maybe if you got a bit further back and lower you might be able to do away with that bit of vegetation to the left of the two trees.

Thanks John. Was wondering if I had posted a complete dud and people were being kind. Will try what you suggested re. PP'ing the shot. As for compostition, I couldn't really go further right as there was a bin in the way.

Here is the result.

Nice image even if the tree is cropped on the side.

The sky needs to be deeper blue and maybe some warming of the image to give a late afternoon feel to those great shadows on the grass.

Lose the border - it overlaps image detail and distracts

I like a lot about this shot, but think it still needs a little work as per Barrie's suggestion.

Please also reduce these images it so the longest side is under 800px (these are 1024) as per the FAQ.

I also like this photo.
I believe you placed yourself in such a way that
the reflections off the water were masked by the tree on the left hand side, cool.
I would have a go at shadow / highlight in photoshop.
