Hi,

just a couple from a sunrise I went out for a couple of weekends ago.

First one has been crop pano-style. Or should I just include more details in the foreground?



Second one is the water intake "valve" for the lack of a better word. The surge comes in and via a pond, fills the baths.

#1 is an interesting perspective. Where were you? Shortland Esplanade?

Only real niggle with the shot is the verticals are all over the place - otherwise it's a great pic.

#2 doesn't grab me though - I keep getting drawn to the extreme right edge where all the action is.

1st one for me ...... verticals straighten, crop more sky and include more foreground would help also.......

straighten verticals......... use crop tool and crop image around the edge, tick perspective box and move the top or bottom of crop area, in or out, to straighten vertical each side....... select image, crop.......

Here is one with sky cropped and more foreground interest. I haven't fixed the verticals yet, will have to figure out how in my software. I did apply the lens distortion tool, but verticals still not quite right. Anyway, here is a new version. Click image for a larger photo, it does look better larger.



Peter, I was standing on rock shelf in front of the baths, between the baths and the ocean, it was low tide.

I like the pano of this but must say the large version of this I like also...I like the foreground...works well overall
