Almost monochrome as I shot into the early morning sun with guided missile destroyer HMAS Hobart about to make a fast snap turn around this poor little yacht in order to close up astern of the ship I was in. She was really moving too! The yachtie must have wondered what was going on. Heart in mouth time!

Then after resuming a civilised speed on our port quarter, I couldn't resist this image of an ever alert naval rating taking the morning sun. :)

Lots of interesting things happen out there.
I am trying to calibrate my monitor to get a good density on the posts. To me these ones look a bit pale online. What do they look like on yours?

Arrrr, mighty fine warship. Being Ex Hobart I know this is not a recent shot. I love the first one.

G'day Moo boy Yes, I only just realised how long ago it is. I was scanning some negs and working them up. Another nice one of the old girl posted at http://dslrusers.net/viewtopic.php?t=18982 if you did not see it. Also look deep in my website (URL in Signature below)
All the best

Just checked out your website and found all the Kanimbla/Hobart photo's. Some memories there for sure. I think I recognise some of the people on Hobart.
