A warm slightly misty morning on the Brisbane River just before going to sea. I was lucky with lens flare and had sufficient leading lines to make this one of my favourites.
What do you folk think could have improved it please?

You've done well with this. For me I'd darken it slightly with a curves adjustment to create more of a silhouette on the man and reduce the noise slightly.

Yep, it looks like it's straight across the river from one of my favourite haunts, Royal Queensland Golf Club.

The Gateway Bridge (in the background of Col's great shot) runs through the course. It is about to be duplicated, so there will be two arches across the river at that point.

And about 5 years of disruption to the golf course.

Col - a very nostalgic type of shot well executed.

Thanks. After seeing it online, I agree. I will darken the sailor, but I kinda like the detail in the rest of the scene.

Thanks Brett. It is indeed the sugar wharf. I am constantly amazed at the ability of large ships to spin around here in such confined waters. The navy does not employ tugs and are pretty to watch when leaving harbour.

Yes, you are right. I have my display set at 2304 x 864 res. & when posted at 600 pixels/75dpi, it looks okay, but when I bump it down to 1024 x 768 it starts to look not so good. I might bump them up a bit.

What size/res seems to work the best here?
Thanks Guys
