this is very different from you mark....... no bugs, or dragon flys...... but a nice image, for me I would prefer it as a vertical

Beautiful textures and colours. Can I ask what setting you had your flash on? Was this handheld?

Owen , I'm an idiot. I was reading the wrong exif :oops:

It was taken with the kit lens hand held, no flash. I've corrected the original post :D

Mark - just love the colours in this pic but I keep leaning my head to the left to view it in portrait - it looks great in portrait :wink:

Thanks Mark - I have found that when shooting anything that the mind cannot define as a complete object, I look at different aspects and your shot is a winner :up:
