drinks at the stagg inn

I found this shot I took while bolting around the Abbey Medieval Tournament seeking something to drink. I ran it through photoshop and only ran filters that matched traditional wet-darkroom techniques. I used a channel mixer to match the use of particular brands of B&W film, then adjusted levels to deepen the blacks and brighten the highlights, then burned the edges a tad. After this I converted it to greyscale and then back over to DUOTONE mode from where I added the sepia hues selectively through the depth of tones. This is the method of B&W/sepia conversion that gives you the most control and if you want to make a strong B&W pic, I recommend you give it a go.
