Narrabeen sunriseHere's a pic I took Saturday morning at Narrabeen. It's my first real attempt of this kind of shot with the Sigma 10-20. I wasn't going to post any of these ones but I've had some good comments from a couple of people so I thought I'd give it a go. I missed the best light. I'll have to get up earlier! Lostdingo was down there at the same time. I'm sure he could show how to really do it. (Your secret thingies are safe with me- I won't tell. Shhhh...)

David, glad you posted it I really like it and while I haven't been there it seems like you've brought your own taken on the place, compared to shots from other members here. Looks great on my screen here, which may mean a little dark on a calibrated monitor.
This appeals to me. Great shot to start your 10-20mm Sigma collection with.
And this is where I met the leprechaun - He told me to burn things
Thanks for that. This was my first attempt with the lens. There seems to be a bit of banding (not the infamous D200 type of banding) in the sky on my monitor. Not sure if I can get rid of that with PP.
Don't think it will be worth getting up at 5am this weekend to try some more. Might be a bit wet...
