Jeff, nice shots mate. That new lens sure looks sharp, with good contrast and colours. I sure hope my new baby comes up to this standard! The images are really good, with the foreground comprssed nicely by the lens.
Looks like I'll be At Wakefield Park on a Sunday, so we may get a chance to catch up. Cheers and well done! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

I'm not familiar with Nikon capture . ( i shoot canon and edit with photoshop ) The unsharpen mask name adjustment levers are different but i'm guessing they are similar .
This is what i use after i've finished converting from RAW and then any additions like curves or levels etc.in Photoshop . I unsharpen mask at these settings before resizing. Photoshop = Amount ( intensity ) 300 Photoshop = Radius ( Halo ) 0.3 Photoshop = Threshhold ( threshold ) 0 If your shooting JPEG . Lower the Amount a bit and / or raise the threshold. Hope that helps . Tony
