no pp, just a slight crop

Nice shots, like #3 best - yeah I knew what a pelican and a black swan looked like.

Is #1 also known as a plover?

yes they are commonly known as plovers, stemming from the old name of spur-winged plover but they are now known as masked lapwing. They are in the plover family.

Good seperation between the subjects and backgrounds, particularly like the framing of the last two, looks like a drop of water falling from the beak in #2???

Don't know the first thing about bird photography but I enjoyed these :)
