Mark I like the third shot which you have nailed in terms of peak action. Well done

The guys head poking out of the background in #1 is distracting

Yeah this is a bit of a problem round here, loads of guys in the water...

I'm always wondering about pp'ing them out but worried that it might be obvious. Would appreaciate any tips from those of you who are masters at pp....

Nice shots Mark. You will have to let me know when it is on some times and I will come down - been aching to get some nice surf shots.

I checked out the other shots. You have a nice gallery there. Loved "Enter the Green Room" - classic main beach. On days like that it would be hard not to trade the camera for the board

Thanks Craig.... that sounds like a great idea. I'll probably be at it again this weekend... Sat or Sun Morning... I also get a few bird shots at the same time.. So if your keen, PM me.

Slightly off topic... But thanks also for pointing me at the forum... you might remember? I bid on your 70 - 300 on ebay a couple of months ago under the name bluewetlens and missed out on it... :cry:

however I scored one new not that long after for $299
