Awesome sunset tonight in Adelaide; been meaning to head down to Pelican Point for a while with my gear ever since being told to move a parked car from "high security area" by a glorified babysitter with too much power in his head. Fired a few shots at two locations trying not to look too suss. First photo looks East at the powerlines from Pelican Point Power Station; second two images are toward the ocean overlooking Outer Harbour.

Third image is my first pano; quite amazed in how easily Photoshop merges the files but looking for a way to join photos and still work in RAW across the entire stitched image range. Wouldn't mind some C&C, especially on the size ratio and what dimensions usually work best....[/img]

Love the colour in the first and last, but I agree with everyone else - the second one is stunning.

I saw this sunset last night too, but didn't have my camera with me. I'm very glad that you did! Thanks for sharing.

The shots are not much use to the terrorists. The first one, the type of tanker cannot be assessed for explosive potential. The next two are of commercial significance to the adelaide economy but the lighting is terrible. How on earth can you pick security petrols with such photos.

In terms of photography, first shots is excellent. The colours and the movement of the truck works.

LOL = hope you made sure that you wore black and hid in the shadows while taking the shots, all the while talking into a mobile phone and looking around you in a dodgey fashion !!!! ;) You could really finish off the overall terrorist look by getting one of those really really dodgey 'gun' looking camera bracing things (sorry, Codral has kicked in and can't for the life of me remember what they were called  )

Great shots- I'm with most, love the second !!!!

The first shot is my pick. The colours and movement are great. The ultra wide angle does tend to distort the picture though. The tower looks like it's going to fall over. In this case I think the distortion helps the picture by giving the tower a little more presence.
