And you reckon rock fishermen are mad eh? On a Noosa Camera Club dawn shoot at the local national park, I just managed to grab this quickly (hence the lack of sharps).
We are a dedicated bunch are we not? :up:

The blurry left hand is rushing to the rescue of the lens surface after pressing the remote release. If he looks a little pink of skin, it was BLOODY cold. :lol:

the one place i hate taking my camera.

i dont mind taking photos in the rain, but salt spray is a big nono.

Hes MAD! Whats the left had there for? To grab the camera or tripod as is floats away in the surf?? Im scared when the wave is 2m from me not 1 cm geeeez :shock:

There's nothing to it...when you're crazy. When I feel a rip about to take me under, I start thinking, "This is not a good time to be photographing surfers without a waterproof housing!" BTW, anyone have a housing they would like to donate to a worthy cause?
