I like this one Chris. I'm a big fan of the shallow DOF and you've used it well here to isolate the subject. Nice muted colours and leading lines.

I like this shot Chris. Great use of DOF. I would suggest a tad tighter crop on the right side weather board space closer to the last hat and perhaps a little off the bottom of the frame for the balance so that the crop better matches the top of the frame, particularly with regards the first hat. Don't know if that makes sense but i've cropped it by using the forum window sizing to crop as I have suggested and I like it. Mind you it's your image
cheers

this is a really technically excellent shot since you managed to use a certain f stop and distance to get most of the middle hat in tight focus
from it's left and right extent, you must of spent soem time on this one chris
it's just not a simple shallow depth of field shot

Chris - this shot is simple and complex in one. Mind sharing the EXIF data? I like what you've achieved and would be interested to know more about how you shot it! Well done matey.

How good is this? I love this one Chris - you really controlled the shot and put that focus plane exactly where you wanted it. Great.
