Not known for my bird photos, but was too tempting with these colourful denizens of the booderee national park.

the "lovebird" is actually a rainbow lorrikeet.
looks like you handled its bright colours well

Very nice shots Justin. They can be tricky subjects, especially when they flit around so quickly. It's nice to see you've retained some 'natural habitat' in the frame too.

If you want some really tame birds, including kookas and those black and white ones amongst other stuff with wings, Booderee national park - Greenpatch or Bristol point - these were taken at bristol point. Lots of great 'habitat' and friendly birds - what more could you ask for (sounds a bit like North Sydney on a friday night :-)

You have captured these 2 birds quite well. Maybe just a bit more DOF with the Rainbow but quite good nonetheless.
