Okay all you bee photographers. Here is your nemesis!
This little buggar is about 10mm across and sits among the flowers awaiting dinner in the form of unsuspecting bees. Very quick and effective. Not an easy one to spot in amongst the foliage.
Any thoughts on this image folks?

Col, had to look twice lol

Nice looking crab spider there, they are hard to photograph at times due to being white and easily creating hot spots..

nice shot

Col,

This is a nice shot that's very sharp, good DOF and set amongst a nice, vibrant-coloured flower.

I like it :D

Cheers

Very nice shot. The spider ambush. Lurking, claws at the ready...

Incidentally that's one weird looking spider a$$ (I assume that's an a$$ and not some kind of dimpled beanbag it's brought along while awaiting for a meal)

Thanks for the kind words folks. It was a small one and they do offer a challenge sometimes. I had to back off & crop as the lens was shading him at full magnification.

Yeah, BT*ist the dimples on his/her bum are there to increase the allure. Cutesy!
Here is another taken after I pushed it around a bit with my finger. Surprisingly quiet and held it's grabbers out after I pushed them there, etc. If it had been a metre across, I may not have been so bold though!! The full sun burnt the highllights out, but an interesting aggressive pose.
