These are from the stockton shoot many a moon ago.

Revisted them recently with NC as I'm trying to put together a portfolio.

The sky in this shot is from the shot above, as the sky from this one was terrible.

Interesting treatment on these ones, and well worth putting in a portfolio :)

Not sure if I'm convinced with the replaced sky though - but then maybe if I didn't know... ;)

Leon, thanks for the comments.

With not being convinced, do you mean that it doesn't work, or that I haven't actually blended it in well enough?

It doesn't look right to me - but it's not that different to the natural one, so I don't really know ;)

Nick - I actually really like the last one - does it print out 'neatly' - ie on the web version it looks a little 'choppy' on the top of the dune where it meets the false sky .. but could be to do with sharpening for the web? Other than that, I feel that the footprints from the right hand side leading up work beautifully to lead the eye - well done.

I also find number 3 interesting - great effective shot IMHO.

Well done !! And great for a portfolio :)

Rel,

You are right about the last one - needs a touch more work on the horizon, but it does print better than it looks on screen.
