Hello again,

It's been a while since I posted on the site. I've been busy with my new career (photographer of course).

I shot a few weddings in the last month. Let me know what you think.

Image

This series is from last weekend. I was the second shooter for this wedding.

Hi Johnny,

Great news on the new career - I wish yo well

I've edited your post so that there are only four of the images directly linked; I've left the rest as links so that others may view tham at their liesure.

We've found that any more than four images makes proper critiquing difficult.

The first and fourth are a little too soft for my liking. Are you using vaseline or some other distorting element at the front of your glass, or did you do this in PP?

The third one though is delightful. It just screams "kids" :)

Congrats on the new job,

For me the second image is great as is the 5th. The others as I guess will be appreciated by the bride and groom as they have conection..

Cheers

Well done on your new career!

No.3 does it for me, but I love child portrait photography :)

#3 is SOOOOO cute. Love it to bits. 1 and 4 I feel like I've seen a few times before, but there's nothing like a portrait of the lil ones :)

Johnny -congratulations on taking a huge step !!!
And from the shots that you've posted, I'm sure it was a sensible step !!
Love all of them, as I think that by soft, you were going for 'dreamy'?
Congrats once again

Well done Neeper!
I like the third one especially and also a couple of your off the board pics as well.
Good luck with your photography career - judging by these photos you are well on the way to being a first class photographer.
Cheers
Graham

Some great shots in there, and some fairly nice Post processing, I'm sure some clients would really love them PP, I'd prefer myself to see the shots in a more natural state.

I like the black and White ones the best. The one with the pink flowers shot from above is great except I wish the crop wasnt so tight and you could see the whole of the brides dress.

Thanks for the comments. The softness was done in PP. It's a touch most clients seem to like, so I have left it as it is. It's also a good technique when your shot comes out a little soft. This way it looks better.

#3 is now one of my favorite shots of all time. Although it looks candid, I will admit it was completely setup. I thought it was cute to try and show them playing "hide and seek" while the everyone else was getting their photos taken. The kids were wonderful subjects and almost willing to do anything. when I got the shot, I knew it was IT.

Very nice shots, I like every one of them, especially the one of the kids.

Yep,

Number three is the go here. Definately a wonderful shot. My girlfriend loves this sort of shot and has said this is the style she wants predominantly - beautiful candid shots of the people she loves.

Great work Neeper. #3 - it has all been said, GOLD.

I like the dreamy look myself, so the soft glow on the others looks fine to me.

I like your style!

I too have to go with the group & say that #3 is great. I love the expression.... something a bit different but very apt.

Well done! :P
