Deckhand portrait

Geoff, Craig and I had a little challenge on the ferry hop trip - none of us had ever approached someone we didn't know and ask to take their picture.
Geoff was first, Craig was next. Haven't seen Geoffs yet but Craigs' B&W shot of the sea captain was superb - and his shot of the two girls g-strings wasn't that bad either.
Anyway, here is my attempt, a deck hand on the manly ferry. Really nice guy and happy to pose. C&C welcome.

Matt! Incredibly strong image my friend. Certainly has a wow factor - I'd be very keen to know what PP you've done to this prior to making further comment.
Thanks for posting!!

Wow Matt, excellent image great impact and the PP is cool, looks like a different and more subtle Draganizer variant, like Geoff I'd be keen to hear how you did it.

"Wow" - exactly my thought! Those eyes...
And I can't help but noticing that the image has a striking tonal resemblance to your avatar
Cheers
Steffen.

The eyes have it!
The piercing eyes peering out of the weather-beaten face make this an excellent portrait.

Weather beaten face, the eyes all adding up to a powerful portrait - I really like this Matt (and, of course, it’s not a self portrait

)

Thank you for the comments guys.
The PP was just my standard fare really - curves, desaturation and contrast masking.
Great little bloke he was.
Many thanks all.
