Golfing Recoloured

Hi Guys,
i was given a project to create a magazine cover for my dads birthday. my mum gave me a photo of my dad when he was much younger. the photo was in Black & White and i had a go at colourising it. please let me know what you guys think of my efforts.
Color -
Recoloured -
Obviously i have cropped it yet.

I think you've done a pretty good job at colourising.
Your Dad also has a pretty good swing. That looks like New South Wales Golf Club that he is playing, is that right?
Good luck with the birthday surprise. I saw your earlier post about golf magazines - I hope you have found one. Unfortunately I've thrown all of mine out.

Laurie, that is fantastic - I love that whole fifties colourised photograph look, and you have absolutely nailed it.

Brilliant job! However I would add just a touch of colour to the golf buggy!

great job but the sea at the right has a bright cyan area that needs to be toned to match the rest of the sea (nit picking)
your mum is going to be so happy that you will do no wrong for at least a week
